For the love of guinea pigs rescue and sanctuary started after seeing so many piggies being re-homed online and some from horrible homes. I saw post after post of piggies being re-homed without a second thought. Gus and sprocket are who started the rescue. They were in a tiny filthy cage. They didn’t know how to walk as the cage was that small there was no room to walk. Since then I have turned my home into a guinea pig safe haven .
Guineas along with so many other animals are a lifelong commitment. No matter how long or short their life may be they deserve this commitment. This is overlooked at the time of becoming a guinea owner. The guinea pig world is so over populated because of this. It is also my lifelong passion to provide the best care possible to these little guys along with educating new piggy parents.
To this day i have helped over 500 piggies be it find new homes or stay with me until passing the rainbow bridge. Guinea pigs are often spoken as starter pets when they really are not. I firmly believe here that each and every animal is important and worthy of a happy safe life.
I take care of a large number of piggies in my home everyday. Everyone is housed in C&C or midwest cages or in custom built cages and the females are happily housed together in a herd with a neutered male.
Its my mission to prevent harm, educate, and be the voice for them.
I receive no government funding and rely on your generosity to care for these animals. Without your help and support I would not be able to create a safe environment for them.
